Welcome to Fulham Man with Van. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging our services, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and obligations.

Definitions

Services: The moving and delivery services provided by Fulham Man with Van.
Client: The individual or entity engaging our services.
Contract: The agreement between the Client and Fulham Man with Van.
Agreement: These Terms and Conditions as well as any other documents referenced herein.
Items: All property, goods, and belongings to be moved or delivered.

Services Provided

Fulham Man with Van offers a range of professional and reliable moving services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our Clients. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Local and long-distance transportation of goods.
Packing and unpacking services to ensure the safety of your items.
Storage solutions for short-term or long-term needs.
Specialized transport for fragile, valuable, or oversized items.
Furniture assembly and disassembly services.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, ensuring that your moving experience is smooth and stress-free.

Booking and Payments

Booking Process

Bookings can be made through our online platform, via phone, or by visiting our office in person. When booking, you must provide accurate and complete information regarding the nature and volume of the items to be moved, your current location, and your desired moving date and time.

Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email or message containing your booking reference number. It is essential to retain this reference for any future correspondence or inquiries related to your service.

Payment Terms

Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments.

All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Any additional services requested that were not included in the original quote may incur extra charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon prior to execution.

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that circumstances may change, necessitating the cancellation of a booking. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation by Client:
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before the service may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total service charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service will incur the full service charge.
Cancellation by Fulham Man with Van:
- In the unlikely event that we must cancel the service, you will receive a full refund and, if desired, assistance in finding an alternative service provider.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request, using the same payment method originally used for booking.

Liability

Fulham Man with Van endeavors to handle all items with the utmost care and professionalism. However, our liability is limited as follows:

We are liable for the replacement value or repair costs of any items damaged or lost during transit, provided that the Client has informed us of any pre-existing damage prior to the service.
Our liability does not cover items damaged due to inherent defects, improper packing by the Client, or circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions.
The maximum liability is capped at the total value of the service charge unless additional insurance has been purchased.

Clients are encouraged to properly insure high-value items and to declare their value upfront to ensure adequate coverage.

Insurance

We provide basic insurance coverage for all items transported as part of our standard service. This coverage includes protection against accidental damage and loss. For Clients requiring higher coverage limits, we offer additional insurance options at an extra cost.

It is the Client's responsibility to inform us of any valuable or fragile items that require special handling or additional insurance. Failure to disclose such items may result in limited or no coverage in the event of damage or loss.

User Obligations

Clients engaging our services agree to the following obligations:

Ensure all items are properly packed and secured before the scheduled collection time.
Provide accurate and truthful information regarding the volume, weight, and nature of items to be moved.
Be present at the specified location during the agreed-upon service time, or arrange for a representative to be present on their behalf.
Obstructive or hazardous items, such as flammable materials or illegal substances, must not be included in the items to be moved.
Ensure that access routes to and from the pickup and drop-off locations are clear and accessible for our vehicles.

Failure to adhere to these obligations may result in additional charges or the cancellation of services without a refund.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Amendments to Terms

Fulham Man with Van reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our online platform. Continued use of our services after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate the contract with written notice if the other party breaches any of the terms and conditions and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of receiving notice. Upon termination, the Client is liable for any costs incurred up to the date of termination.

Force Majeure

Fulham Man with Van shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, or labor strikes.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all information exchanged during the course of the service confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Fulham Man with Van regarding the services provided and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
